SILVER LINING

It has been raining heavily for a week now, and Winter feels like it has well and truly arrived in Melbourne, I’m taking solice in knowing that I get to catch the last of the European Summer in August. I shot these with the amazingly talented Liz from Street Smith, when the Sun decided to momentarily shine on us.

THE QUIET REVOLUTION

Never under estimate the power of simplicity.. In the last 3 weeks my world has dealt me a series of unexpected cards so to speak, and in a situation where some might momentarily panic (including my former self.. had the same situation occurred 3 years ago I most probably would have been an inconsolable wreck in the corner of the room) I have found the simplicity and clarity I have sought for so long, and I realise that the freedom and endless possiblities I have in front of me are the most powerful cards I could have ever been dealt. Heres to a new and fulfilling chapter.

ENTRENCHED

So it feels like a life time ago that I actually got out and shot an outfit post, but with an unexpected dash to Sydney and then landing back in Melbourne ready for VAMFF, there hasn’t seemed to be enough hours in the day. This trench was the only thing I had time to purchase for fashion week, and I have to say it was a lifesaver, as the nights here in Melbourne are certainly feeling more and more like Winter. Suffice to say I think everyone should invest in a transeasonal trench, this one is a winner as its soft drape fabric and over sized fit, works perfectly with that ‘not quite winter but holding onto summer’ wardrobe
