Shorts are possibly one of my wardrobe staples, I think I live in them in summer, whether its a pair of denim cutoffs or a more tailored pair teamed with a blazer, they seem to be my go to for most of the summer months. These Shakuhachi Daisy Chain shorts are some of my favourites I just love the lace, and the crisp white is perfect for summer. Although we’re still a little way off the summer months here, they still seemed like the perfect choice to team with a pair of Steve Madden patent loafers..available in two delicious sorbet shades, blush and mint (of which will be featured in a future post).. Can’t wait for blue skies, sunshine and shorts weather to appear again.

A little spring clean goes a long way… I’m pretty sure everyone has those moments when its time to edit the wardrobe and decide what’s a keeper and what’s going to the ebay pile, well this was me last week. But with the clean out also comes the update, and a realisation that I needed to get a little more colour in my winter wardrobe. This Acne knit was the perfect choice and a refreshing change to the usual black and grey staples,   so soft and warm that I even braved bare legs on a chilly Melbourne winter day. Teamed with this Kahlo leather skirt which I have been living in, and super high but unbelievably comfy Steve Madden heels, which are great pair of transseasonal sandals, these pieces are definitely all keepers.
