Quilty

This quilted skirt from the JW Anderson x Topshop collection is amazing, I am a lover of Paisley print so it caught my eye straight away, that and the quilted nature of the fabric. This was my first foray into pencil skirts as I’ve always opted for something shorter, and now I am totally converted. 
It has been my go to piece for work and nights out for a few months now, and looks equally as good dressed down with a boyfriend tank and ankle boots. I can’t wait to wear this piece in Winter as the quilted fabric is at times like wearing a blanket, especially good for a Melbourne Winter.

Tangled up in Blue

I’m not usually one to wear solid blocks of colour, hence why I have avoided colour blocking for the past couple of seasons, but every so often I find a colourful piece that I know will fit perfectly into my wardrobe. This Zimmermann Shirt is one of those pieces, I fell in love with the colour instantly and combined with my love of shirts I wasn’t walking past this one. On a 30 degree Melbourne day it adds a casual chicness to an outfit, half tucked with sleeves rolled up and bold enough to say hello summer.
