The mini was somewhat of a revolution in my wardrobe in my early 20s as I had spent most of my teens in baggy clothes trying to hide my thin pin. While everyone else was all hips and boobs, I was simply a bean pole, then I discovered legs were kind of a thing other girls wanted, and a denim mini became my best friend. Fast forward 15 years and we’re here…How to wear a mini when you’re in your mid 30s… I opt for well made, classic with a twist; whether that be a design element, an interesting construction or a standout fabric. This Jacquemus number ticks all those boxes, from the cut, to the nipped in waist complete with raw seams, and those Cream buttons. it’s my grown upself moving on from that 30cm denim mini I wore like it was my uniform at 21.

Ps Thanks Mum and Dad for the legs.
