For me, discovering a new label garner as much excitement as being a child sneaking out to the Christmas tree before Mum & Dad woke up. Recently I discovered Vale a new denim label, who might I just add got picked up by Myer in their first season (now if that doesn’t say this newbie is going places I don’t know what does). It was love at first site for me, the Vale aesthetic is edgy but wearable, it’s denim done right and done differently, and most importantly I haven’t taken these Denim Culottes off.

You know when you find that one thing you’ve been searching for that you never knew was missing, and you actually didn’t realise you were searching for it until you find it? I’ve had that moment many times in my life, most of the time it’s so significant that it’s life changing, I’m not going to hail this Olive Green coat as life changing, but I’m certainly putting it up there as a ‘what did I do without you’ moment.
